Dollars and Cents

So the other day i'm listening to the radio, and the dj is asking people to call in on the most expensive pieces of clothes they own. 200, 300 dollar pairs of jeans. I know these kinds of clothes are out there, but really? 200 bucks for a pair of jeans? and on top of that these jeans have been pre ripped and stained. Shoot all my jeans are ripped up and stained I'll sell em to ya for $200. Maybe I'm the crazy one for thinking jeans are for getting dirty, under the hood, or in the mud. Maybe I'm crazy for thinking that clothes really aint all that big a deal. I had a conversation with a friend recently, he was saying that I should change the way I dress to impress girls. No there ain't nothing wrong with gettin a little dressed up now and again, you just gotta remember the clothes don't make the man, but if people don't like me the way I am, well thats too bad, but it don't bother me a bit. Now maybe you are the $200 dollar jean type, and maybe thats just who you are and thats okay be who you are, and ya know what clothes are just clothes, so go grab a stack of benjamins and go buy you an "outfit".
Anyhow, just keepin it simple, God bless the USA.

My Front Porch on the road

Being on the road all the time, don't have time to go fishing and sit around on the front porch, so I made my own online front porch. Whether you love old trucks or new cars (as long as they're American made) you're welcome to stop by.

Well to start, I love Football (Pittsburgh Steelers), Nascar (Kyle Busch, Carl Edwards, Kasey Kahne), camping, hunting, fishing and Country Music. Working on my Jeep whether she's broken down or not has gotta be one of the best plans i could make for a saturday, or friday night, or anyday. That don't mean I'm friendless, I got friends that got my back anywhere anytime, but if you were to guess I'm single you'd be right, I tell myself I choose to be, but perhaps it's cause there's no one interested in a guy like me, or maybe I found that perfect girl but she doesn't feel the same, anyway you look at it I'm okay with it, Anyhow enough about me for now.

Small Town USA (ya it's a song) is the backbone of The U.S., and I pray every night that God will bless our Farmers and Blue Collar workers, and that He saves us from the disaster of a president all them liberal college trust fund kids helped elect. Nothing against money or college at all, education is good, but not if it makes me something i ain't supposed to be, cause no matter what i'm gonna be me even if that is just a self made fool, "shootin the lights and cursing the dark". As far as money goes ya you need it, who doesn't? But money can change people, look at sports, good honest guys trading teams because they wanted 24 million and could only get 22 million from the team they've played for the last 5 years, I don't get it. This world needs a little dose of Lynard Skynard "Simple Man". Now I understand that big money, big business are products of the great freedom in this country, and that's a blessing the world needs a few businessmen. But even in a competetive society, it's possible to look out for one another, cause in the end it's not all about winning.

Well thats all for now, God Bless the USA
